A View from the Porch (November 19, 2014)

I’m posting later today, because I wanted to include a special event from this evening.  Heather Gibson LaBarbara, KY Education Association Central District President, and Dena Amburgy, KY Education Association Board member, stopped by to drop off a donation of $500 from the teachers in the Central District of Kentucky!

Teachers work hard and they take care of lots of families.  They know firsthand the disruptions that occur when a medical crisis hits a family.  They see it in the children they teach and care for each day.  They wanted to do something to support families, and they chose to help St. Agnes’ House.

I don’t know about you, but I still remember so many teachers who taught me and I also remember many of the teachers who taught my own children.  Teachers touch us for a lifetime!

Enjoy our view from the porch!

Love, Rebecca+
